600 Mabalacat folks receive compensation under Tupad | MABALACAT CITY – Some 600 residents in this component city received compensation under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers or TUPAD employment program.
The beneficiaries received their cash their salaries after working for ten days.
On May 13, 2022, Vice Mayor Geld Aquino assisted in the pay out held at the Lot Only Xevera.

TUPAD is a program under Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
DOLE said the standard rate for TUPAD payout in Region 3 or Central Luzon is P420 per day or a total of P4,200 for 10 days.
Mayor Cris Garbo, together with other city officials, thanked DOLE for the program which benefited the displaced workers in the city.
Under the program, residents need to go their respective barangay halls or the city’s PESO to register under TUPAD.
